I saw this oak leaf outside on the deck and could not snap a picture. The backdrop of the crystal snow with the brown winter leaf almost looks like the two extremes—life and death. This leaf, without any signs of youth, retains its detail and beauty. For me, this is an inspiration for drawing and making cards.
